Welcome to Fantasy Games, we are a friendly, family run tabletop gaming and miniatures store.

We started our venture back in 2018, when Games Workshop approached our airsoft store, Allsorts Airsoft.

We then, after only a year, grew too big to have both stores in one building, so at the tail end of 2019 we opened our sister store and thus Fantasy Games was born. In 2022 we moved to a bigger premises to reunite our two loves Tabletop gaming and Airsoft.

Since that time, we now not only stock a wide variety of Games Workshop we also stock Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Lorcana, Bolt Action, Project Z, various apparel, merchandise and so much more.

We hold regular game nights including Warhammer (Both 40k and Age of Sigmar), Friday Night Magic (we are not part of the WPN) as we play for fun, D&D & Painting Club. We are always either painting or playing games in store and are more than happy to help you in any way we can, be it giving advice on different paint schemes or just helping you decide what new hobby to start.

In April 2022, we held our first painting competition, designed to push ourselves and our regulars to new limits of our painting skills by doing something slightly different. We had seven different categories, ranging from non-metallic metals and object source lighting to non-dominant hand and with the success of this we plan to hold more in the coming months but maybe not quite so intense.

Magic the Gathering is one of our favourite games to play, with Modern being our go to format as we love the casual and friendly atmosphere it generates, to the point, we even made some house rules just to give the game an intriguing twist. Commander is also played in store, but any format is welcome.

With miniature and model painting being close to our hearts we have got you covered with the entirety of the citadel paints, brushes and scenics range available and the complete Army Painter paint range. We also stock some of the Army Painter tools and a selection of Revell and Airfix both models and tools.

We also offer board and card games ranging from the exciting Throw Throw Burrito (and yes, it is as fun as it sounds), Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh and the childhood classics of Cluedo, Risk and Monopoly.

Thanks to a friend we were all introduced to the magical world of D&D. Since then, we have all come to realise Dungeons and Dragons is a fun and thrilling way to get away from the real world and experience fantastical new ones. To journey across the lands with friends to slay the mighty dragon or start a civil war and two zombie apocalypses is an experience you’ll never forget.

So, grab your shiny math rocks and don’t fear as we have plenty in stock for when yours become cursed, because everyone should be a Dice Goblin.
